It's monday!

We had a busy day today. My husband, his friend and my father in law have been putting in a concrete patio. One truck came here in the morning to pour the concrete. It didn't take a long time pouring the concrete because they used the type of truck that mixes the concrete right as it comes off the truck and they are experienced with this kind of work. It took a little longer to pour the stoop around the side of the house because the truck couldn't back up that far so they had to carry it around in a wheel barrel. It took a long time though for them to finish all the concrete because it was a lot and it was slow to dry. When they finished their work it turned out so pretty and we are using are new patio already this afternoon for Sarah to play. My husband says she can ride her tricycle on it tomorrow. I'm so glad and lucky my husband has experience to do this kind of work and we can save a lot of money over hiring a contractor. We're already planning to have our friends over next weekend for a cook out on our new patio. Anyway, I took some pictures of them when they were working on our patio so I might share it with you once I download them.
